The opening
The sky is a grey bowl. Salt wind. You stand at the wheel of a yacht that is not yours, surrounded by people who are not telling you the truth. The captain, Noel, was last seen at 2 a.m. going below. He is not below. He is not anywhere. The GPS reads a location that is, according to the chart, three hundred miles from where you actually are. The radio has a hiss that is not weather. Your guests are staring at you. What do you do?
